Children
We love children and we are delighted to have them in our services.
We have our special ‘Holy Moly its Monday’ monthly service at Holy Trinity for all the family. This is especially aimed at all ages and there are lots of creative opportunities for fun and faith.
At All Saints Church, where we celebrate our Sunday Eucharist we have a children’s corner at the back of church and some families like to be there during the Sunday service. However, we really do want to welcome you to the front of our Sunday services too!
If you are worried that your small child is distracting others at any service, please do what you need to be comfortable, but don’t worry that we are worried. We want children to remember the church as a place that reflects God’s love for them, and to remember for all of us God’s invitation to ‘come as you are’ – that applies to you too parents!
Sunday School is open most Sundays in term time in All Saints Church Hall, led by passionate and experienced volunteers. Parents are invited to leave school age children and collect them at the end of the service.
Sunday School is a place where children and young people of all ages can discover and develop faith. Here fun and faith is the order of the day. The groups are split by ages and follow the Bible stories of the Church Calendar. There is no such thing as a ‘stupid question’ and all are included and celebrated.
Sunday School does not run on the first Sunday of every month, this is our ‘Youth Service Sunday’ where we encourage all the children and young people who would like to, to take roles in leading and serving during the service.
If you would like to be involved in joining the Sunday School team, please be in touch with Rev Laura. Please note this will be subject to an interview, references and a DBS check.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children.”
