Clowns Service
Our annual Clowns Service
Trinity Saints hosts the annual Clowns Service, a service that celebrates joy, laughter and creativity.
Since 1946, clowns have gathered for this service, to remember the father of clowning Joseph Grimaldi.
The service takes place at All Saints, Haggerston. We gather on the first Sunday in February at a time of the year when mental health tends to be at its lowest, to provide a place for connection and laughter for all.
Clowns of every age and nationality rejoice with hymns and entertain us with stories from the Bible. We mark the passing of clowns past and present in our prayers, celebrating their artistry, commitment and friendship.
After the service clowns provide a show for local children and their families, and a generous supply of clown cake!
Plan to arrive early as seats are free and allocated on a first come first served basis. Suitable for all ages. The building is accessible for wheelchair users, for additional access needs please give us a call.
For press enquiries, or details of the clown museum, no longer housed at Holy Trinity, please contact Clowns International directly https://www.clownsinternational.com/
